Though the Chinese lumber market of 2015 has been sluggish, MacDonald & Owen has continued to work hard at meeting new customers and establishing new relationships in China. For the second time this year, MacDonald & Owen Lumber Company was represented at a tradeshow in China. Adam Hyer, our leading International Sales Representative, traveled to China in late June to attend the 20th AHEC Southeast Asia & Greater China Convention. The convention was held in Nanning and is well attended by hardwood lumber exporters from across the globe. Following his time at the AHEC convention, Adam traveled to Shanghai, China to attend the SYLVAWOOD Wood Materials & Wood Products Trade Show. This trade show includes leading global exhibitors from across the wood products and wood materials industry. During his time in China, Adam had the opportunity to meet with a variety of customers and to make new connections with hardwood lumber users throughout the region. These trips are extremely insightful for MacDonald & Owen and demonstrate our commitment to expanding our company to meet the needs of customers across the world. Adam is always interested in hearing from prospective customers. Please contact him today at firstname.lastname@example.org regarding your hardwood lumber needs.
