In late May, sales representative, Jack Monnoyer from our Brookville, PA location accepted the Pennsylvania Governor’s Impact Award for Export on behalf of MacDonald & Owen Lumber Company. Our company was nominated for the 2015 Governor’s ImPAct Award as one of the leading exporters in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. The Governor’s ImPAct Awards program was launched in 2013 and is co-sponsored by the governor’s office and the Department of Community and Economic Development. The awards program recognizes companies from the commonwealth that are leading the way in the categories of Community, Entrepreneur, Export, Job Creation, and Small Business. MacDonald & Owen was honored to have been selected as a nominee and was thrilled to have been the winner of the ImPAct Award in the area of Export. The banquet held in Hershey, PA was attended by more than 700 people and Jack represented us well as he met the Lieutenant Governor and as the award was given to MacDonald & Owen. For all of our overseas customers, thank you for your loyalty to our company and your partnership in allowing us to be one of the leading exporters in Pennsylvania. Our export business is one we hope to continue to grow. Whether you are overseas or right here in the U.S., if we can meet your hardwood lumber needs today, give us a call at 800-657-6990.
